Fences randomlly disappeared and cant get any to reappear

Recently all of my fences on my desktop disappeared. I tried to use the snapshot to restore the older version, but it did not work. When I go to my desktop the fences seem like they are all there, but they are all transparent and not visible. I check the visibility/transparency to make sure it wasnt set to 100% as well. I can create and even rename fences fine. Even the old ones I have as they are still there and the icons appear in the correct positions as if the fences were there, but just the fences arent visible at all.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try this. Go to Fences configuration windows.

1) Color & Appearance -> All Fences -> Click "Reset to default". That should make all your fences not transparent.

if it still not reappear.

2) Disable quick hide.

if it still not reappear

3) Disable Desktop pages.

Try those and tell us if you still need our help.

So purging worked and then I was able to restore the snapshot with no issues. Not sure why this randomly happened though.
