Requested feature

When i use a wallpaper with many details, it becomes difficult to separate desktop icons from wallpaper image. 
I can use the option to change the transparency, but i would much rather be able to add blur to the fence window. 
I think that this feature would make it alot easier to have detailed background  images without having big parts of the wallpaper hidden behind colored boxes where the fences are.
