How to activate my start10 with start8 licence ?

Hello community, as says in the title i've try to activate a start10 after i've upgraded my windows W8 to the new W10. But it does not do it. It tell's me "invalid key" but i've ask it from stardock itself. I've also tried the online activation with my owner account. Did i miss something ?

There's no reason for me to buy it again, the licence is a lifespan licence

All help wil be well appreciate.

Hello,

I believe when you upgrade your Start8 to Start10. You will get a new license key for the Start10. Please check your account for the new key. Let us know if you need further assistance.

I am having a similar issue,

 

I paid the fee to upgrade from start 8 to Start 10.

All I see when I log into my account is the Start 8 purchase from several years ago with noway to the Product key

i keep getting prompted to enter??

Thx for the tips but my key still doesn't work. By the way is there something to pay to using start8 licence for a start10 ?
Because i have a start8 licence.

You need to upgrade to Start10. Yes you need to pay for Start10. But if you have Start8, you can get a special discount for Start10. Just follow this link and at the bottom there is a link for that special discount. https://www.stardock.com/products/start10/download

From what I understand, Start8 still fine, working under Windows 8. Just that you need Start10 for Windows 10.
