Does anyone have the problem that all their shortcuts on the desktop disappear? This has happened to me at least 4 times over the last few years on multiple PCs using fences. My IT department is blaming this on fences which I cannot disprove but I hope is not true - since I love fences.
Just happened to me on both desktops of my two PCs when I came in this morning. I know they were fine when I left last night and I had not rebooted or restarted my PCs, only signed in from a lock screen.
Later in the day determined that there was an update pushed to my PCs that erased all .lnk icons that night. Sorry for the false flag.
