One fence over another

I put one fence on the desktop which is coloured but in which I place no icons. I then lay my normal fences on top of this background fence. The effect is a beautiful bordered fence. When I start the pc, the background fence installs on top of the normal fences and thus the normal fences are obscured. Is there a way to get the background fence to install first?

Hello,

I don't think so. As far as I can tell, which ever fence get activated or use last it will be "infront". If you have A fence inside another "bigger in size fence". That smaller fence will be hidden behind the bigger fence once the bigger fence get activated/focused. And you can only get the smaller fence activated/focused again, if you move that bigger fence aside to reveal it.

OK, thank you. That's the answer then. I re-created the normal fences so that they were activated last and now they install on top of the background fence. It's great. I will never have to activate the background fence, so all is well.
