How to import configuration from previous instance of Fences to Fences just installed on new SSD

I replaced my hard drive w/ a new SSD and re-installed Windows.

Now reinstalling programs.  I've just purchased and installed Fences 3.

Question - How do I import settings from previous instance of Fences? I backed up my files from the previous hard drive and see a folder under User Data labeled SasLog.txt.  Is that the file?  If so, where do I install it in the new Fences?

Thank you!

Thank you - that worked and (partially) solved my problem.

Of course, only the programs that I've re-installed so far appear in fence.  I had hoped it would show me which apps I had previously stored in each of the fences.  Is there a way to view that info from the "old" backup file?  Looks like it's an XML.  Is that viewable outside of Fences?

Related question - believe I saw that Start10 and Fences can be connected in some way.  If so, it may be easier for me to organize my program in Start10 and then sync that categorization with Fences.  Is that an option?

Your observation is correct - Fences cant create icons, only organize the ones that exist on the desktop already.  If they do, and a snapshot is restored, it will organize them.

Yes, the snapshots are XML.  It would be a chore but yes, you could look through them (Edge could view them as well as a number of other apps) to see what was there but you would still have to manually create the icons on the desktop.
