Groupy Opening Group Links In New Homepage Tab, Not Saving The Webpage.

Is there a fix to this, when I save a Group all Chrome links are the Homepage, not the links I have open when saving the group. :(

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

You can edit the 'CommandLine' groupy saved group to have it go to a specific site.  For example, with FireFox, it would look like this:

[GroupyEntry1]
OwnerProcess=C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
RunElevated=0
NoPatternMatching=0
CommandLine= -url www.espn.com
WorkingDirectory=C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
Target=C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
MatchingClass=MozillaWindowClass

For other browsers, you need to see what their command line options are.

For Chrome if it helps anyone, I edited my explorer.exe saved groupy file and added this Chrome code below it, replace TheWebsiteUrl1 etc. with the URL of the website you want.

It opens three file explorer in the respective directories then open the four URLs in the same grouping. :)

If you just want URLs just save one Chrome URL as a Groupy, edit the Groupy file, and edit the Groupy Entry to add the URL, then add the other Groupy Entries like below. :D

If you save a Chrome Groupy entry yourself first, it'll have the correct settings but configured by Groupy for your PC, don't use mine like it has it below.

Fine examples, KedarWolf, thank you.

I have a custom userdata and cache location for my Chrome, it's in the F:\Temp folder on a secondary drive.

Unless I add Chrome flags to the cache location my bookmarks bar and bookmarks etc. don't load.

Here's the fix.

Note after adding the flags I had to change the GroupMax to 0 or they'd open up in two separate groups.

I tried just adding that location to the appropriate entry in my registry for Chrome but bookmarks still wouldn't load until I did this.

Here's a link to how my Groupy looks when done. :)
