If u don't mind , id like to have an outside opinion, If you think i am way out of line please tell me now.

I have been thinking for a while and i have narrowed it down to two names for my pet lovebird (its a guy)

1. Cosmo
2. Jeppy

I would just like to know what you thinbk is better.

I like them both. Is there anything in his personality that would fit one name better than the other? Jeppy sounds like a good name for a bird. But Cosmo is cool too. With Cosmo it would sound like he's descended from lovebird nobility.

I like Jeppy. Sometimes, when you give your loved one a petname, in dutch it ends on "y" (actually: "ie" or "je"). Come and fly with me to the moon jeppy

With cosmo I get associations with cosmopolitan, which is a magazine. You can call the wife of your uncle cosmopollyant, especially when she's called polly. OK that was silly
