Subtle scrollbar functionality issues

No scrollbars at all or partially broken scrollbars

Problems with scrollbars:

1) In the standard Windows 7 Help viewer for CHM files (the program that opens them is hh.exe), there are no visible scrollbars at all in the right-hand 'contents' pane. The scrollbar is apparently there as it can be clicked and dragged with the mouse, but it is completely invisible. This seems to be equally broken in Internet Explorer 8 (x64). I understand that WB may have trouble skinning the IE scrollbars, but I expected them to at least remain visible.

2) There are 2 subtle scrollbar features - at least in Win7 (in most applications, e.g., Notepad):

A] while dragging the scroll box, if you move the mouse sufficiently far away from the scrollbar (perpendicular to it), the scroll box snaps back to its initial position, temporarily cancelling the drag (at which point you can continue the drag by returning the pointer closer to the scrollbar - or abandon it completely by releasing the mouse button);

B] Shift+clicking anywhere on the scrollbar means "go here" (rather than page up/down without pressing Shift).

Both of these features are broken.

The above issues #1 and #2 A&B affect all themes that skin the scrollbars (tested in Aero mode). Skins that leave scrollbars intact are unaffected, for example: Windows Aero, Modified Aero, Aero Colours, Cideral. Manually deleting from a 'problematic' skin all [*Scroll*] related sections alleviates the problem (but the scrollbars become 'basic' and ugly/flat - worse than the default Aero ones).

Win7/SP1/x64, WindowBlinds 10.65

Thanks!

Why are you using IE8 on Windows 7?  The latest version supported on Windows 7 is IE11.

@AzDude: I may try that one of these days, but are you implying that you can't reproduce any of the reported issues on your system?

@Neil: Oh, I'm not using IE at all. I'm using other browsers. Which is why I never bothered updating IE on my system. The IE issue (#1 in OP) is actually relatively minor - compared to the #2 problem(s).

I have just re-tested these issues on a newly-reinstalled clean install of WB (settings unmodified), with applied theme Acrylic 7.

Help (CHM) still displays no scrollbar, as reported.

Scrollbar functionality described above as "#2" in, say, Notepad is still broken - as reported in OP.

(IE was upgraded (just to be thorough), and IE11 has no problems in any respect, not that this is relevant.)

I hope you will have no trouble reproducing (and hopefully fixing) these bugs. Thanks!
