Repeated prompting for version upgrade

I have Fences 3.0.9.11 installed, I am getting a popup saying that a new version of Fences has been found (12.1MB download)

However, after I go ahead and "Download and install" this update, the popup appears again.

Even more annoying, this popup steals focus, so if I have a full-screen game running it will minimize to the desktop...

How can I turn off the auto-updating?
