start 10

start 10 not working

My search and cortana does not work on my computer , something about a tile data base broken
 
I thought if I downloaded and paid for start 10 it would fix this but I can't get it to work.
 
It works with windows 7 style but thats all
 
Is there anyway around this?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. From my understanding, if your search under windows 10 do not work. Your search under Start10 will also not work, since Start10 do not have its own search engine.

ok but thats false advertising isn't it?

If something is corrupted in your Windows install, Start10 will not help. 

This is most likely an issue with your Windows installation, you would need to resolve that issue first.
