Start 10 upgrade 1.6

Blue Screen

2 Win 10 computers I7, Gigabyte MB 16GB both report Bad System Config Report - blue screen - MBR destroyed on first reboot after installation. I realised fault when the second upgraded today to 1.6 I selected reboot & bingo - no win 10 - picture available on request.

Both computers have April Update -

Ringing your support from the UK was a waste of time - the problem is definitely with the update - 5 hours to restore data on 1 machine - thought it was a failed Samsung 850 SSD - It was failed software.

Thoughts anybody -

What error message did you get?

The Start10 installer should not even be capable of writing to the MBR even if it wanted to.

Are you getting the issue before login?
