Wrong monitor content selected for transparency

I have Fences 3.0.8.1 on a Win10 64 system. Two identical 4k monitors. Monitor 2 is set as main desktop. Problem is that fences located on monitor 1 show through the content of monitor 2, not monitor 1 when transparent. Checked the registry for Stardock it does have the correct value (monitor 2) set as primary monitor. I have a panoramic Windows theme photo spanning both monitors.

It's more complicated than just using the image from the wrong monitor. I can move the fence around and see where the transparency background is coming from, it is half of a single screen away. If you picture the panorama spanning both monitors, the transparent background comes from half a monitor distance to the right of where the fence is located, regardless of monitor, or if the fence is moved to the extreme right of the panorama then the background is coming from half a monitor to the left.

Identical 4k monitors at 3840 x 2160, also have the Win10 display control panel scale and layout setting set to 200%.

The 200% display scale factor does not make a difference. On the left hand monitor the fence background is taken from half a monitor width to the right, whether it is on the same monitor or the right hand monitor. On the right hand monitor the fence background is taken from half a monitor to the left, whether it is on the same monitor or the left hand monitor.

Its not like anything we have ever heard as an issue with Fences and hard to picture the problem from the description given alone.

What I would like to do is eliminate any other app or setting causing any conflict.  For that, I would like to try a 'clean boot' with just Fences enabled:

I'm trying to reply with some screen shots but this interface is not letting me do it.

With further experimentation, this problem is totally due to use of Windows' Panoramic Desktop Themes. If I set the two display backgrounds independently the problem disappears. Selecting a panoramic desktop theme makes the problem reappear. It is independent of display resolution, got same problem with both displays set to standard HD 1920 x 1080, and to 4k HD 3840 x 2160.

Interesting.... Can you tell me what other settings you have, the 'fit' for example, as I have installed some of the themes from here but cannot reproduce what you are seeing:

Changing the background fit to "span" seems to fix the problem. I had it on "fill", which makes a good background image but apparently messes up the fences' background image.
