cant change username

so i created my account a long long time ago, and i only just now notice i misspelled my username when i signed up years ago, and that led me to not be able to log into stardock in a couple different games today.

when i try to change it through the profile account settings it doesn't actually do anything.

it simply refreshes the page and everything is exactly as it was before starting.

ok, so i got the account name changed, but the typoed name persists as a nickname, how do you fix that?

you know, i closed all browsers and then re-opened them, didn't change anything, so then i logged out and logged back in with the new username and it corrected it.
