that colored overlay ( WB skinning ? )

well, here's my question. Building a new skin and I've run into a problem. The problem involves that chunk of grey (in my case) that appears over the "all programs" text when I mouse over to hit the buttton on the start menu. what is it? where is it? can I change it? I changed the background that overlays the shutdown/logoff buttons on the bottom bar of the start menu, but I cant seem to locate the one for proggy's.

Another thing, the only reason i skinned the logoff overlay thing is b/c of the same prob. I hate that generic gray bar that wrecks my skin. However, now that I have skinned that, the button no loger reacts to mouseover. it's supposed to change colors, but now it seems the skinned button background supercedes this.

If i remember correctly, I can alter a color in the colors area under miscellaneous and it will change the color of the overlay, but this will not help b/c the start menu background's texture.

can i make it pink/transparent (255,0,255)?

thanks for the help.

No you cant make it Magic pink, just have to blend it with background image colour if you wish.

In colours section under "Menus / Menu - Highlighted background (XP Only)"

If you also want to change Text colour for that part its Section above there "Selection / Text - Highlighted" as this is shared colour with All Programs text and selected MDI button.
