"All Programs" folder organization

Had ClassicShell until the latest Windows 10 update broke my task bar icons (Calculator, Store, etc.)  Switched to Start10 but noticing a difference I don't like and unsure if I can change it somehow.  I like to keep my "All Programs" menu pretty organized with custom folders (Games, Multimedia, Security, Maintenance, etc.)  When a program gets updated, a new folder is placed in my start menu and I move it to the appropriate category folder.  In Classic Shell, I would get a window asking if I wanted to replace the files in the old folder.  But in Start10, I end up with multiple folders for the same program, one with links that work, and others with link that no longer work.  If there a way to automatically replace the old folder, or do I have to go in every time and delete the old folders manually?

Hello tzolkin,

As far as I know you will need to be updated manually, I might be wrong, maybe someone else will come up and correct me.

Anyway its a good features to be add. Will forward this to our Development Team for their review and recommendations.

But I cannot, however, provide a timeline for response or resolution. You will be notified if and when it available.

We really do appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

The easiest way to organise may be to right click on the all programs button and pick Open or Open All users (depending on where your shortcuts get stored) and then you can rearrange your groups as you wish.

Interesting Neil Banfield - If I do as you suggested (Thank you), then folders and files are automatically replaced as I wished.

Basj - it would be great for this feature to be added on start menu rather than having to go through the extra step Neil suggested.  Thanks for forwarding to development.
