I'd like to start by saying Offworld Trading Company looks like an amazing game.

I'd love to play it, but my gaming PC runs linux, and I would need a linux version of the game. I'm posting here in hopes of alerting the developers to the possibility of porting the game, if they haven't already considered it.

The engine on which the game is built, unity, already supports linux, which should make the job much easier.

The port could be done in house, or there are several contractors who are quite skilled at linux game porting. One such person would be Ryan Gordon (aka Icculus) https://www.icculus.org/~icculus/
