How long I will receive updates?

Hello, I have a very simple question, Im looking to purchase only Start10 (not ObjectDock products pack with 1 year updates). 

If I purchase Start10, How long I will receive updates for this version of Start10?

I mean, for example, what happens if Microsoft updates Windows 10 and breaks the funcionality of Start10 in for example.. 2 months, Will I receive an update? and after 1,5 years? is lifetime for Start10?

I know, I will not receive updates to new versiones like for example Start12 for an hipotetic Windows 12, but, What happens with Start10?

Normally, when you purchase a software, this information is very clearly indicated in the purchase page, and in this case I cannot see it.

Once you purchase an individual product, it is a one time purchase and yours for life.

Incremental upgrades (1.1, 1.2, etc) are offered with most Stardock software at no charge. Version upgrades (1,2,3) are usually paid upgrades.

If you were more interested in an application suite including those products (and many more), you may be interested in Object Desktop. Object Desktop is not an application, rather, it is a suite of Stardock applications.  When you purchase Object Desktop, you're purchasing one year of prepaid access to many of the applications we offer and the latest updates for them.

ok, I understand, when you say "usually" you mean there is no guarantee that if I buy today Start10 (not ObjectDesktop package), may or may not receive an update if for example Windows 10 updates next month and breaks Start10.

I understand that there is not a guaranteed period of time (for example a year) for receiving updates for a purchase of standalone Start10 software.

I know, that purchasing ObjectDesktop, I will receive 1 year updates, and no more, any updates after that period of time are totally excluded until you renew your suscription.

Usually, when you purchase a software license, it comes with at least one year of updates.
