Start 10 does not load on boot.

How do I make the Windows menu disappear forever?

New HP laptop with Windows 10, have not installed creator. When I first installed Start 10 everything seemed fine, then I rebooted. At bootup, it loads the windows menu. If I click the menu button windows menu goes away and the start 10 menu appears. If I click anywhere on the desktop it loads the windows menu. If I open a metro app it loads the windows menu upon closing. I don't want to see the windows menu, I have no use what-so-ever for it. I've used start 8/10 before, never had this kind of problem. Please help!

Have you set the laptop into tablet mode?

In tablet mode the fullscreen WIndows start menu shows on app close and on startup and every app is forced to be fullscreen. This can be adjusted from the action centre.

Thanks, that was it. I'm rather chagrined as that is probably something I should have thought of, but more so thankful that it wasn't something more complicated and time consuming.
