Terminator 3 Desktop Released

– Stardock and The Skins Factory have teamed up to create a new desktop theme as part of the promotional efforts for the upcoming movie Terminator 3: Rise of the Machine. The theme includes an official WindowBlinds visual style that transforms the Windows task bar, start bar and start button, title bars and more to reflect the movie’s futuristic look and feel. The visual style also adds a “T3” button to the Windows title bar that offers fans one-click access to the T3 website. “More and more companies are making desktop themes an integral part of their marketing plans,” said Larry Kuperman, Sales Manager at Stardock. “These companies recognize that people are spending more and more time in front of their computers and desktop themes offer a great way to get a message across. Desktop customization has really become a mainstream phenomenon and you can reach an audience of millions of users.” In addition to working with Warner Bros, Stardock has in the past licensed its software to clients that include Microsoft, NVIDIA, Touchstone Pictures, Nintendo and others.
