What are the 'smart buttons' refered to in windowblinds 4. What do they do?......and how do I use them...???

smartbuttons are generally just plugins. The skin author has to put them in their skins to be able to use one. for an example, check out Alien Technology: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?Library=1&skinid=3186

Use the full version (you will see little circles on the bottom right hand side). Some folks have reported problems with the quicklaunch button, but not me, so ymmv.

to expand; smart buttons are general buttons not used for the common tasks (maximizing, minimizing, closing). They can be custom configured to a chosen action (such as roll-up or a menu)

At least this is how I've always understood their purpose.
