ok..now you gotta trust me on this one Forget about Component Manager..don't use it, don't have it load on startup and don't uninstall it. Just let it die a silent death on your machine. CM loaded all your files to Program Files/Object Desktop and SDC will load all your files to Program Files/Stardock so SDC may show nothing loaded. You need to register your software in SDC to kickstart it. When you do that let me know what programs it shows as loaded. Warning..SDC may update itself and ask you to restart the program (not computer) if it does just go with the flow.....

OK it shows WB/ WB4/Iconpacker/desktopX/skinstudio/objectbar/FX/Controlcenter/drivescan/tweakshell/springfolders/tablaunchpad/componenttray. By the way tonight is the first time I ever used CM.

you're moving right along... in SDC click on View Tab and un-check 'show pre release versions'. Then click on Tools Tab and click 'refresh app. data'. After that click software tab and object desktop tab and tell me what it shows as available

ok..not a problem..lets stick with WinStyles just to keep it simple, all the other programs will work the same...In SDC right click on WinStyles and click update. If that doesn't do it then click uninstall and when you refresh it will show it as available. Click on it and hit install. That will put it to the Stardock Folder

while we're waiting ..go to Stardock folder and see if there's folders for most of your programs..notably WinStyles

ain't life grand....WinStyles (as info) is good for loading entire suites or (and this is what I use it for) saving a theme you've put together yourself..just give it a name (you should be good at that ) Anyway now you know where everything is..just play with them and you'll quickly figure everything out. It's really great software and is a real hoot to play with...so enjoy
