Acoustic Bridge - reconnection issue

I purchased Acoustic Bridge a couple months ago and it's been the only good solution for what I required. However, there is one issue that occurs and it inconsistently resolves itself.  To make this clear I'll name the computers involved as PC1(audio out) and PC2(audio receiver).

PC1's audio output is monitor speakers as there are no regular speakers for this computer. The monitor goes to sleep after an hour of inactivity. Upon return, PC1 no longer sends audio to PC2. It will randomly reconnect itself. Sometimes this is immediate or upwards of hours. Due to the nature of my work I'm unable to reboot PC1 very often so this is a dilemma. I've attempted reloading Acoustic Bridge on both computers but to no avail. Using Ctrl+F12 to try to force it to see the receiver as online also does not work.

Is there any solution to this? I looked for local files that maybe affect its polling time but to no avail. If there is no solution, would it be possible to see a simple update in the near future that allows either or both...

1. A manual reconnect attempt 'button' or
2. A customizable input to allow x seconds for sender<-->receiver connection or reconnection check

I'm using the following settings for both computers: https://puu.sh/wj5qC/d8f6595c60.png

Thank you

Are you using static ips or dynamic ones?

It should attempt retries very often but could the ip address of the computer be changing?

Thanks for the reply!

They are static ip's. The machines rarely ever get shut off as well. It's simply the monitor goes to sleep and consequently its audio is 'disconnected'. So you'd think it would reconnect just fine. I'm not sure what else I can do at this point except deal with this working intermittently. There aren't any alternatives that I've found just yet, most other related software is for media players only. :/

One thing I'll try out this weekend when I have time is setting up a virtual audio device or such as the default audio output and hope that works.
