Treaties?

I just offered the Iridium a Free Trade Agreement. One turn after I could not see any increase in my income, so I looked in Diplomacy under Treaty Details: Nothing to be seen of any benefit for me, it says "Weekly revenue from treaties: 0.0 bc".

Is that still the old bug that treaties only benefit the party that it is given to?

Btw, in the Treaty Details there are also a lot of "New Game" entries. I think that's for all the positions where I traded resources, seems the game picks a wrong string there.

I can't verify this because so far I haven't been able to get anyone to like me enough to make a treaty in Crusade.   

But there was a mod that tried to fix it in the base game, I think it was called "Two Way Treaties".  I have no idea if it would still work.

I glanced at the TreatyDefs.xml recently, and as I recall, all of the two way treaties include the line "<TwoWay>true</TwoWay>"...

That isn't where the Free Trade Agreement info would be found. That is for durational credit treaties. The Free Trade Agreement provides a multiplier to your colonies' gross incomes. I'm not sure if it shows up on the planet management screen or not, but I'm pretty sure that would be the place to check for the effect.

It does. Shows up as x % from x race, atleast it did prior to Crusade.

Ähm ... silly question ... but when I offer a treaty in the trade screen. Does this mean that only I give s. th. to the other party and to gain it myself the other one has to offer a treaty itself? Or is it enough just to have the traty once?

Only in , but since its marked as a two-way treaty this doesnt work.

You need to add the bonus as a giver, but last time i checked, the treatys are bugged so you can get them every time you can trade with the AI, making them completly OP.

I checked, it didn't show up anywhere, not in the planet screen, not in the economic overview.
