I remember that day.... in every detail... right down to when what's-'is-name lost his whatchamacallit sometime between 8.00am and 8.00pm. I was funny, really, cos So n' so lost hers just the day before, and when What's-'is-name found this out he accused her of stealing his.
She didn't, though, cos a policeman, or was it a policewoman, brought his back from someplace we'd been earlier in the day.
