ICK! :( Any WB skinners willing to test for me?

I hate to beg but I'm getting frustrated!

Can someone or two-someones or how many ever someones please test my skin? It's only 75% done (mostly just some minor buttons and coloring left as well as some tiling and transparency probs) but I think there is some major crud wrong with it already. Great salespitch for testing something, I know!

PLEASE if you do decide to test this for me (which I will appreciate immensely) please make a backup in XP or something... YES, I'm paranoid but I've never made a WB skin before! Hey, better safe than sorry. It works fine on MY puter but I have NO idea otherwise.

BTW, I don't want to know anything 'good' about it at ALL. I want to know everything wrong/crappy/icky about it! There is NO way I'm gonna up this thing until I can get as many funky things worked out as possible beforehand. So just let into me with both barrels!

Any and all input even 'harsh' reality is good for me! This kind of serious stuff needs it and I don't EVER want someone's puter to wig out because of something STUPID I did.

With that said, I hope someone can brave it! ))))))))))))))))))

There must not be too much wrong with the skin, I am not seeing anything strange. I have been opening various progs and everything looks good. I especially like the start button! That 's how all this graphics stuff got started with me anyway. I can't stand that UGLY green one in Win XP. I remember now that you only wanted all the wrong/crappy/icky stuff, but I can't find any. Yet.

I will digest all of this input and try my best to tweak and master this sucker! I really, honestly want to come out with a quality skin that people can really use...so your input is MUCH needed AND appreciated.

As I said, don't be afraid to tell me stuff icky with it as you use it...this is a great learning experience only if I have a critique!

I've been using it for a little bit and while it isn't my personal style, it is a nice skin. Only problem that I notice was the mouse-over graphic on the menus. Just looks like it needs to be a little cleaner, not that I'm a professional or anything.

I'm not saying that the menus are not working, just that I think the graphics there need to be cleaned up a little. The title bar kind of has a shiny feel to it and then the menu mouse-over is kind of a two-tone flat blue, at least on my machine. FYI: I did redownload the skin and reload per post #30. Following is a link to a screenshot to maybe better explain what I mean ... http://www.ibservice.com/images/aquamenu.jpg. Please note: this could be due to personal preference by me, just thought I'd mention it.

I guess I'm having a hard time explaining myself, sorry. Let's see ... if you look at the actual on-click in the screenshot of 'Help' itself. See how that is a smooth gradient, but the mouse-over on 'Read Me' is just a straight two-tone, non-gradient image? Does that make anymore sense?

If that was the intent, then it's great, just trying to point out something that probably comes more from a personal preference in skins. Like I said, overall I think it looks great. Keep up the good work.
