It would be really a great feature to be able to decommission an entire fleet.
Nothing worse than late in the game when you have powerful new ships and large old fleets sitting idle around.
What I do is I write down the names of the ships on paper and then sell them to a minor or a faction I am going to attack last or leave alone. Nothing like arms dealing and selling old ships to a faction. That factions rating will go up while yours goes down a bit.
However the decommission button would be ok I guess. I would rather be able to sell entire fleets to the ai which would be more dynamic.
Why not go all the way? I would like to be able to:
1) select multiple ships why shift+click and decommission all of them at once. Even more flexible then decommission whole fleet. This could be added in addition though.
2) decomission all ships of type from the govern-fleet screen.
It's already in game. Select the fleet, click details, click decommission.
