Hmmm, I thought I looked before (lots), and this time there was one. It took out 113 things.

113???? Surely most of these are cookies?

Thanks for the heads up on the ref file.

Not a lot of cookies. Registery keys, a registery value, one process, folders, files, I forget all the stuff.... A lot of it was WildTangent.

Just tried it. Ran version 5.83 first, then 6.0 - and it did find extra stuff.

There is a new kind of pop-up that is rather insidious. It takes advantage of an XP 'feature'... you can read about it here:

Ad-Aware won't catch it.

For those who use and like Adaware, I would suggest also getting BPS spyware/adware remover.

Both will look for and remove spyware/adware that the other won't and it is said they should be used in conjuction.

I've ran adaware before with it finding nothing then running BPS spyware remover with it finding multiple components. Never the other way around. And if I had to choose to use only one, it would be BPS spyware/adware remover.
