Start10 not working or something - I don't understand

Hello,

I had start 8 forever and enjoyed it but lately window pushed an update to 10 on one of my PC's.

It really looks like it's not even working or something. I have no idea what is supposed to be happening or what's going on.

For one there is no search bar in the start menu. Just this prompt that asks me to choose a default screen that does nothing and wont go away.

I go into Start10 configuration and I don't understand anything but it seems that no matter what I do it has no effect.

Nothing changes.

Nothing works.

What is going on here?

You would appear to have some weird Gigabyte smart switch app installed. This is probably blocking Start10 from showing up when you click on the start button.

If you uninstall that software (which from the screenshot looks horrible) Statr10 should then work.
