Multiplayer with DLC

Will it work if one player owns DLC?

Hi,

Quick question before I but the DLC - if I buy it and I play a multiplayer game with somebody, will that restrict us only to content we both own, or can they use my DLC while in a game with me?

Only the host needs the premade map.
