New Steam achievements for Snathi and Mercenaries

Were these announced anywhere?  If so, I must have missed it.

Anyway, I now see the following:

Vigilant Victory - Win as Arceans

Out of the Deep and to the Stars - Win as Torians

A Little Help From My Frenemies - Complete the Mercenaries campaign

Revenge is Ours - Win as Snathi

The Return of True Face of Fear - Complete the Snathi Campaign

Since I've already played the Snathi campaign I guess I'll have to play it again to pick up the achievements.  Fortunately (for me) I postponed starting the Mercenaries campaign until yesterday, so I should be able to get that one in a few days.

We will be adding the achievements for 1.7.  We have to add them first to steam to test them before putting out the next version of the game.  The new achievements should be fully supported in the next beta of 1.7.

So if I want to get the Mercenaries campaign achievement, I guess I should abandon my current game, wait for the next 1.7 beta, and then start the campaign over again?  Thanks.

If you want the achievement, you can pause your game until the next release.  You don't have to restart an in-progress game to get the achievement.
