Hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone found a way to make more/add more planets to the game to allow massive empires like before in GalCiv2. I really enjoy GalCiv3 and wanted to try and changed it up.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
mapsetupdefs.xml under Abundant block, increase the <PlanetFrequencyExp> and <HabitablePlanets> values.
Buck has a mod to do this (but more involved)

the quick way is what exelsis said, just FYI
for more planets you need to DECREASE (not increase) <PlanetFrequencyExp> and for more habital increase the<HabitablePlanets> values
Note habitat is ~ Toral # of planets, so just increasing one ahile not decreasing the other may noy get you where you want to be
