Is the only way to build ships of varying sizes you have to have advanced in a game far enough to actually design them? How come there is a Ship Designer button on the main screen so one could design all they like without having to play the game most of the way through to get to huge and such... What am I missing?
In the game the only components you can, or hull size you can use; are limited by the tech's you have researched. you can put resource using components on the design even if you do ot have the the resource, you just can not built it. There is no designer button on the main menu but it it has been talked about as a future enhancement
