Has anyone had problems with Adobe software after Object Desktop installation?

Photoshop 7 is on the blink (crashes computer on startup) and it could be anything but one of the most recent things I've done to the computer is some of the Object Desktop stuff.

Cheers,

I run them together fine, and I've seen no other reports of problems with them.
If you have WB installed, try excluding Photoshop and see if that fixes it.

I have also run DesktopX,Photoshop 7 & windowblinds together for the past 6 months without any trouble at all.

Windowblinds caused some weird problems when Windowblinds was installed for me, like the windows of the pictres i was working on would always appear off the screen, and the hot spots for the min/max/close on these windows was like 15 pixels to the right of where the actual button was. I had to exclude photoshop. I haven't tried it with the newer versions.

"Photoshop cause some weird..." that should read.

pre-WB4 alpha caused no end to the problems in Photoshop and Imageready for me.

In photoshop, I had to either use a UIS1 skin, or just guess where MDI buttons were - because they were never where Windowblinds drew them (even though it drew them in what looked to be the correct place.) The layer styles dialog always went blank as soon as I edited something.

Imageready - well, not a single one of the tabs would work, unless I clicked on the very /bottom/ pixel of the tab - which is funny, because the tabs worked just fine in Photoshop.

So yes - it gave me a few problems. They seem to work fine in the current alpha build, though I haven't really tried imageready - the only thing I used it for was saving png's or jpg's out of habit... I've since taught myself to use PS' 'save for web' option. ^.^

I've excluded all my Adobe programs in Windowblinds and they all work fine. I'm using PS7.
