Windows 10 Menu Not Working

I am running Windows 10 64-bit.

Start10 (Ver 1.2) has been working fine up until a few days ago. I uninstalled it and reinstalled, but still have the same results.

In settings, I can only select the Windows 7 or Modern look menus. If I try the Windows 10 menus, nothing shows up with the left-click of the mouse. If I right-click, I get a basic Windows menu that works, but doesn't look like Start 10.

Now, in either the Windows 7 or Modern Look mode, If I click "Windows 10 Menu", nothing happens.

Also, when I uninstalled Start 10, the Default Windows 10 menu would not come up either, even if I depressed the Windows key on the keyboard. If I right-click, I get a basic Windows menu with limited choices.

So, it looks like I have no access to the--is it called Metro?-- desktop icons any more.

Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately your Windows 10 install sounds like it has developed a fault with the Win10 menu.  There is a bug in Win10 that can cause this and it is unrelated to Start10.

I would consider using a system restore point as a first step to fix the OS.

Disregard my note above.

I ran a registry cleaner (Error End) and it was the cause of my problems. I restored the "registry fixes" it carried out, and all is working okay now.

Regret any inconvenience.

Thanks Neil... I believe ErrorEnd was what caused the fault in my case... Won't run it again.

Thanks for the quick resonse.
