TAKING A BREAK FROM UPLOADING.

I have come to notice that Im spending far more time designing walls, than moderators spend clicking the "delete" button. Perhaps when I finaly learn to render a sphere on a textured sky in Bryce to create somewhat of a abstract wall, then I can upload again. In the mean time I have decided to give a website of my own a try. Not anything big, just a site to post my work. Those interested in checking it out, can e-mail me for further details.
I think I should have it running by the end of next week (hopefully)
In the mean time, I will continue to enjoy and collect the amazing work of all the great artists that make up this amazing site. Keep up the good work guys and gals

How can you take a break? I've tried to not make something for like a day and I start itching and anxious and sure enough I find myself back on the computer.

Thats true G_A, and actually Im not taking a break from designing, Im just taking a break from uploading my work on this site. Out of my last 15 walls, only 4 got posted, so I decided to work on a webpage of my own to post the designs that were rejected here. I will upload here from time to time and hopefully they will get posted, if not, then people will have the chance to see it and download it from my webpage.

Hey Apocalypse, every one of us who has ever uploaded walls here have had numerous rejections....
I wouldn't take it personally, I know it's discouraging sometimes but you have to persevere.

I know that feeling, my walls just dont cut it no more, i can only come up with decent walls if im making a windowblind to match.

Apocalypse_67, maybe sometime you should take look at skinning windowblinds, i actually found it more creative and enjoying than walls.

At least he /does/ have the right idea. He's not giving up, and he's not just going to let his walls sit.

when you do a lot of work, it's always good to have your own site to show them off on too! ^_^

Voodoo_Freak, I do not agree with you. I think that walls give you much, much more freedom of expression than windowblinds ever can. In walls, the only restriction you have is of the size (resolution). But maybe I am a bit too naive...

I agree with you Jam, Im not discouraged, I create designs for others to enjoy, and with a personal page I can do just that

You are a very talented artist, I like all your works!
Maybe the only mistake you have done is that you are uploading too many walls, in a skinning site, where the walls are not so much welcome.

If you do your site, just let me know, I will upload ther more than 100 walls that are ready and waiting for the right time

@ adni ... My redesign of my site will have a section of my graphics and stuff. But that's still in the blueprint stage. I'll probably create it after my schooling is done or while I go. I'm going for Web Development so it goes well with it

Right now, those rejected and accepted have been going to DA as a portfolio. But that is what is going to happen on my site. So when I get things organized I can use it to maybe get a job.. whOOt!

I think the stuff that makes it here looks pretty good. I think everybody should have a website (big small doesn't matter)
