cool Davidk

you know I am kind of shocked at the number of walls at deviant and the number of people who end up here asking about them. Seems so sublime when I think that last night I acutally had spent hours browsing and still only made it half way through just the 3D section...

Here's the definitive of what your asking. Made in Bryce and very spectacular http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=20895&Start=19&Sectionid=2&BestRanking=Yes

yeah thats it

I was heading to Renderosity after checking deviant out next, then Pixologic, and a couple of other places

I think Davidk or G_A nailed it

BegelBilly, the thing about gaining permission, if your giong to use it for personal use on your system as a wall, do check but that shouldn't be anything to worry about, but if your wanting it for a splash on a website or some such, you do need to get the permission, everything is held under the sole ownership authors by copyright.. there should be something explaining fair use and such on the site...

though, it would be interesting to see what some of your peeps here would come up with as your own creations

As a Past President of our local Eagles Club, I am also interested in whatever anyone comes up with.

Thanks

Ohhhh, mrtree you should go check out deviantart.com in the 3D section there is a fantastic Eagles head... I looks like the one someone used in a wallpaper with the flag, lady liberty, the towers and the Eagles head on different layers set at different transparency.

Anyway, this is fully focused and it looks fantastic, something to blow up and print on a really good colorjet/laser like a Xerox down at Kinos or something and hung on the wall.

It would be worth the money to do it...

@shu...

decypher is actually the correct spelling of 'decypher'. 'decipher'is not. ^_^

But it is kthxbye...
I have an Oxford dictionary ready at hand. But maybe in US English, decypher might be the correct spelling. Like 'grey' turns to 'gray' and 'colour' becomes 'color'.

Heh - so I went and looked - all of my dictionaries show both. It may even be a regional thing in the US - but generally, throughout my life, 'cipher' has been considered 'wrong'.

Though both 'gray' and 'grey' are perfectly acceptable. And to be honest - before you mentioned it, I couldn't have even told you which was the US english spelling, and which one wasn't. We were taught in school that both were equals. Much like 'ax' and 'axe'.

Oops! I got it wrong. 'cifre' was the medieval latin, derived from the Arabic 'sifr'. ^_^

Oh - I didn't get anything wrong. Forgot I'd deleted the part about the etymology - since, well, it was totally irellevant to my post!

Man I am so /not/ awake. It's time for bed. night! O.o

It is 'sifar' I think, meaning zero.

And this is certainly the first time that I have heard that 'axe' can be spelt as 'ax'.
is some locales it can also be spelled as 'ask'
