Shell Styles

Go to Control Panel - Dispaly - Appearance - Advanced - On right hand side. Check the "Always display the Shellstyle defined in" box

I did that but my Log Off and my Turn Off Computer screens are unchanged. Any other ideas. Thanks for the help.

Are you using a skin that has those features?

Another possibility, if you updated a skin (Copper DeckII for example) the new features may not show up. I had to delete the old skin and install the updated one to get the shell stuff to show up.

is the skin Shell Styles enabled?

also are you sure your system is set to Windows XP (Modified) under the Themes tab in your Display Properties...

and you also might have Hyperpaint enabled which can cause problems if your GPU isn't Reilly compat with it, and also you can try removing the check in the Clear Type on the same page as the Hyperpaint... which can for some odd reason cause the shell style to not fully paint on my system on some themes...

though not since I updated my video drivers...

How do you enable the skin Shell Styles?

if I am not mistaken it is

display properties: Appearances : Advanced : : Skin console windows check box checked:

then the skin has to have the panels skinned...

they should be marked, or have it in the Authors skins comment that everything is skinned I think, also...
