Start10 with ShadowFX and WindowFX

I am running Start10 1.10 Beta with ShadowFX 1.11 and WindowFX 6.0 Beta, all under Windows 10 Pro x64. WindowFX operates successfully on the Start10 menu (Modern Style), but ShadowFX has no effect. Is this deliberate or do I have a problem?

I wasn't sure where to post this, but the Start10 forum seemed a reasonable place.

That is normal. Menus do not have shadows provided by ShadowFX.

Thanks. I only asked because the standard Windows 10 Start menu is handled by ShadowFX. And it would be nice if the Start10 menu could stand proud from the background.
