do a 'save image as' under the file menu and then save it as a .jpg or whatever. then you can view it in whatever program you like

bryce wont let me save it as anything other than a bryce file, and i cant view anything in bryce that i made elsewhere

hey, in bryce, go to file, and then export. (that has to be done AFTER it has complete rendering) and then export it like a bmp, jpg or whatever you want.

Ok I'll give it a try thanks

Did you render it first?

It has to be fully rendered, then go to save as, select your format and save.

/me fears a new flood of dolphins diving through donuts on a sunset sea overlooking an island with a palmtree. In the distance hovers a cluster of chrome spheres....

@ jafo.

Dark mist, let met put it in a nut shell:

Make a image in bryce (on wincustomize they LOVE dolphins )
when you think the image is ready, push the big round renderbutton.
The image will render, and when its done, you have a nice, clear, collor full image, with a lot of dolphins ),
Then go to: file>export, and export the image as a .bmp file.

You can vieuw the image already yourself.

Now open photoshop, and open the file you have made, the bmp file.
Addapt it with one of your 1337 skillz, and then go to: file>save as, and then select .BMP, or .JPG. (when you want to save it normal in photoshop, you get a .psd file.)

hope this cleared things up for you.

Could import it into Image Ready, then make animated dolphins jumping over palm trees.

I don't know if they support animated graphics here though.

I'm proud of myself, I actually made my first animated graphic

Styl, if you are saving the rendered picture and the .br5 file, you only need to click 'File-Save' or 'File-Save as'
if you just want to save the picture itself you can click on 'File-Save Image as'...
