There were some problems with the phone systems in VA this morning, might have something to do with it, backbone routing and all..

maybe??

haven't had any problems coming from the south that I know of..

I am surfing the net using 315MB Ram,
In a few more years I will need 2GB Ram just
to start the computer.
All thanks to 2 programs,
Which bye the way have nothing to do with skinning.

Geez...you dug this one out of the cobwebs....2003...

I started [with PC's] with 640k ram....8086 processor.

Now it's a P4 with 2gig of 400FSB DDR3200.

'Revit' "needs" 2 gig.......

I started with a P2 286....
32 mb RAM...
12gig HD...on board sound/graphics, no net or extras.

Recently...P4 2.8 Hyperthreading CPU..
512 RAM....
1 x 80gig + 1 x 160gig HD...added sound/graphics/TV/FM tuner cards.

Now...AMD 3200+ Venice Core (clocks at 3563, not over-clocked by me)
1.5gig DDR300 Ram...Igig dual channel..
1 x 80gig + 2 x 160gig HD's...plus previous add on's.

Looking to get 2 x I.0gig sticks to make total of 3.0 gigs of RAM in preparation for Vista....and later, a mini-Mac with the Leopard OS to learn/play with as well...

...and to think, 2 years ago I'd never so much as touched a computer.
