I have WindowBlinds 3.90b and my computer runs fairly fast with it, but when I open KaZaA, it takes forever to load my my files and slows the whole computer down. It's been like that for everyone version of Windowblinds I have downloaded. And I have the full version of each windowblinds version i download, so what would be causing the slowless? And how can i fix it, cuz i can't even use windowblinds now, cuz it slows my computer down too much. I'd love to be able to use like i was in the past. It used to work well way back, but i'd say the last 5 versions i've downloaded have been really slow. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't use Kazaa anymore... because back last summer they had an article on download.com stating specifically that it had spy ware in it... and at that time it was removed from download.com... sure now it is back, but I would never use it... but if you like viruses and such... go to your desktop properties, apperence, click the windowblinds button, and got to per application... add an exclusion for kazza...

that should do it...

Basically all P2P clients of spyware. And it takes alot to get rid of it.

Remove Kazaa for a start .... and then go through your system to remove all the sneaky crap they load that you never know about.

It would be safe to say the only effort that has been expended on Kazaa in months is noting a report of a crash when its about dialog was opened.

Go download some of the spyware finding apps and remove the crap that the default install of Kazaa helpfully adds for you.

Is there anyway of skinning kazaa with a windowblinds skin and have it run fast just like the rest of my computer? cuz in the past it worked fine with kazaa but not anymore.

Led....with Kazaa, chances are you have a few friends...little tackers called 'virii', if you discount the Spyware, that is.
Using noble progs of such ilk is guaranteed to have your system suffering.
Just stop downloading others' MP3s and violating copyright.....delete Kazaa...[if you can] and enjoy new-found peace and tranquility...

Kazaa tries to do its own skinning - so I really don't think there's too much you could really do.
