I have windows XP professional, I cannot send any fiels over msn, can someone tell me why and how to fix this please? i have spent about 5 months with this problem and its just killing me please help me

Are these very large files?
I'm sure MSN probably has a size limit on files being sent.

I think that we just went through this with somebody.
You probably either have your security on IE set too high, or have a firewall (3rd party, or through XP) set that is blocking it.

Yep firewall .... msn can not negotiate NAT ... which you would find in commercial routers. ICQ can.

It was me, but the problem was my not listing Wincustomize as having priority in both IE and Zone Alarm. All is well now, just some simple tweaking and a little patience, oh yea some Karma is VERY helpful.
