I translated that, and it does not make any sense. Anyone speak French who could translate that to English?

I tried a on-line translator also and I could not figure it out.

I thought she/he was asking why there is no option box so that the name and the password can be remembered on the computer... The dialogue box with that option is either blocked or missing...

But my french is way rusty.

Sounds better than:

why my e-mail and my password are not taken into account by your page under Windows? Limps of dialogue to store blocks itself!

Then again...

Maybe a cookie dump?

The only things that I can think of are:
cookie issues
or, they are trying to use their info to log into the store when buying something (it has a returning customers log on). Obviously, they can log on to the site....so that isn't the problem. Not really sure with this, and the other thread makes no more sense than this one.....

Maybe he needs to cross-reference his account... but I forgot how to do that.

Jean: le site se souvient de toi grâce à des cookies. Normalement, tant que tu ne te délogue pas, tu n'as pas à entrer ton address et ton mot de passe à chaque fois. À moins encore que tu aies bloqué les cookies.

Translation into English...

" why my e-mail and my password are not taken into account by your page under Windows? Limps of dialogue to store blocks itself "

I am betting the question revolves around the use of the visitors email address for verification.

if you have NIS installed as I do and have Personal Information protection turned on and you have your ISP client email address protected and visit Wincustomize.com, it errors constantly because the site wants to refer to your email address, which is probably part of your ip tracking information.

They want to know why, it is not stored (static) information on your part instead of dynamic and constantly erroring.

It has to be the IP tracking information, like in IRC when you connect it makes use of your email address in your IP information indicating the trace route to your system so it can communicate with you. Norton sees the packet with request with your email address making up part of your IP and errors because you've protected it.

...

hell that lost me, but I knw what I mean really

That's interesting. I don't have to relog in. Only if I dump my cookies. I could dump my Temp IE info and still be already logged in. Heck if I know. Man I also need to learn other langs. I have to learn spanish because my fiancée is fluent basically in it.

ohh, no not relog in...

See in Norton Internet Security youcan protect any personal information you want protected.
So a person adds thier email address "billy-bob-ray-@crab-apple-net" into the protected setup.
now wherever there is any reference to that email address you get a popup warnin error from NIS.

Well, in order for you to communicate on the web the sserver you are connecting to has to know how to reach you to send back responses. It has the IP address of your IPS as part of the routing information and then it makes use of your atached email address or part of it indicating who you are so your ISP knows where it routes to, your system.

Well NIS sees this in the packet information when the wincustomize website is loading and it triggers a warning everytime, meaning every frame on the page and when graphics are sent for those individual frames.

Hence, he gets these warning, when all he has to do is turn off the personal info protection and his errors and problems will go away.

Actualy this tracking info is masked so NIS must be un-masking it? anyway, that is my best guess as to what they are talking about. Just guess, but after being in tech support on computer networks for over 14 years in some shape or form, sometimes I guess right

I didn't know that. I haven't dealt with networks. Just pesonal computers and Sheetz computers that run win3.1 NT.. Man I had to relearn old stuff when I took that job.

unles of course he IS in fact having to re-enter his password constantly, and if so, he probably does in fact have something setup to clear his internet cache, cookies and os traces of his computer use?
