Apart from the computer, I sleep and eat. Other than that, I'm on the computer.

Hard to answer! I've been spending a lot of - time at the computer lately, since I'm job hunting!

Hrm... pestering my roommates and being pestered by my roommates is a fave pasttime of mine. Other than that, hrm...

Unpacking (#2 priority, after job hunting, lately!)
Reading, music, a lot of conversation, games, sitting on the stoop with my coffee, scribbling (my less refined version of doodling.)

Yeah, I'm a boring person. =D

Job hunting, finishing up a playroom (16'x24'), Korean Taekwondo (2 of my kids and myself have 2 more belt tests for black belt)

ehm... wasting my time on college but that isn't really a hobby, most of the time i spend on a computer, for the rest going out with friends and stuff.

restoring a 1968 Ford F100 truck. House husband for my 5 month old son. Buying furniture at garage sales then restoring for resale or keep.

This time of year my hobbies include shoveling snow off my roof, shoveling snow off my driveway, and clearing snow off my car. Soon it will be Spring though, and I can get back to mowing the lawn.

Other than that, you can find me drinking coffee at my computer.

I work as a Gaming Inspector in a casino. Done that for 26 years!. When I am not there, I am sat at my computer.

What do I do? Hmmm, as little as possible

Well, I surf the net (mostly graphics stuff), play with Vue 4 in hopes of making a cool picture, sleep, go to class, homework (sometimes), and other miscellaneous college-ish stuff. Not all that exciting, lol.

Umm, I'm basically like alot of people here.. Eat Computers, Sleep computers, Dream computers, Be computer.... I have a chip insalled in my head.

I really don't understand this part: "away from the computer"
What exactly does it mean?

take apart computers and fix them... trouble shoot software and OS issues... work part-time in IT at a radio network. Try to create Dashboard skins, getting married in july but b4 getting married were having a baby in april... ( I like to do things backwards ) should be a pretty exciting time the first half of this year... a little scary but exciting.

I build costom wood windows, Architectural mill worker is the fancy name.For the last 18 years.I have surfed,Skate borded Ramps,Ridden dirt bikes to hell and back,Riden street bikes
for 22 years and (I still live),I fly remote control Model air planes and gliders that I build,I launch model rockets,I play my acoustic and electric Guitars,and record the noise I make with them to cd,I like to camp,bicycle,play arcade games,Hike,I used to lift wieghts but ran out of time,I like to drink beer in small quntities,Party all night once in a blue moon,Every now and then I have a girl freind I like to spend time with,I get up at 5:00 am every morning to go to work for the last 10 years, I like to clean my motercycle and do mantainence on it,Twice a year I wash my car and clean my bathroom ,And last may I bought my first computer and (I like it alot)so now I spend lots of free Time with my computer.

for me the one thing away from the computer beyond spending time with my family and best bud Boomer the Golden Retriever, it would have to be fishing.

Late night, standing hip deep in the Gulf of Mexico listening to the water lap the shore, every now and then a fish break the water in a splash or just popping a bug off the serfice. It's really nice, moonlight shimmering upon the water and the stars so bright it seems you can see forever.

Manatee's will swim right up on you and hang around nibbling sea grass, or a huge school of trout or redfish will come screaming through leaving floreciant streamers in their wake, all around you, passing between you legs or ducking aroudn the outside of you at the last moment. Talking with my older brother about all kinds of things, not talking for hours and then someone, maybe me, feels a tug or hears a clicker * tick, tick... * and then you rush through the water in the hope you can have it in your hand before it starts cutting the night screaming as the line is pealing out. Maybe you set the hook, maybe you complain about the weak new fishing line and head to shore to tie on a new rig.

You might not even get a bite but it's worth it...

The beach with my dog, he loves it which in tune makes me love taking him. Though I've always been a nature nut beach bum, deep woods, brdige jumping river rat in some shape or form.

oh and I make noise with my Fender 6 string acustic, riding my YZ-250 or my 1968 Superbee...

when im not on my computer.....hmmm.
well, I go to work which involves anything from rushing to the emergency room with one of my patients to logging my notes into the office COMPUTER. (im a nurse). when i get home, my husband always has a COMPUTER question and then ill get on my COMPUTER

DANG! I hit ENTER before i was done. As i was saying.. i turn on my COMPUTER and mess around. i like to design my own outlook express staionary.
you know, now that i think of it , I guess im never away from a computer. WOW! we are a computer generation arent we!
seriosly though....i like to camp, fish, ride horses, walk, and work.

I do what I need to do to survive, and in between I do what I like to do and all of the above
pertains to computers in one way or another.
In a nutshell...

hmmmm, apart from the computer? /me thinks she is a part of the computer... not a very influential one at that.....
