Background Stars

Background Stars are distracting

This is a petty issue, the background stars are very distracting on a busy map. When playing on larger maps, you have a bit of information overload and its one more thing you have to mentally filter. It would be nice when you're in the polishing phase to make them less pronounced.

I love the game and my wife has informed me that I've wasted too many hours playing :)

heh did you watch the last dev stream? there are shooting stars going across the background there and most likely will be in in the next beta

I agree with the OP.  It is not as near as bad as it was in GC2, where i hacked the star/nebula background .jpg to tone them down.  It can be very distracting.  I would like to see something in game set up to mute the background.
