Off-world market revenue confusion/error

In the UI to select what resource to rocket off-world, revenue numbers on the buttons don't match revenue received/shown on the tooltip. For example, shipping food button could read +$755k but only net you $75.5k. I suspect the button text is simply missing a decimal point.

Unless perhaps I'm only netting 10% of the sale, with 90% space launch administrative costs.   ;P

It would also be nice to understand how the price for off world resources is calculated.

I normally find that food, o2 and fuel bring in $500K+ prices (and are easy to create).  Thus I build these resources at L3/L4 prior to getting my off world launchers, and I build these resources even if their current on world market price is low. The off world prices for these resource seem to have no connection to the actual market prices.

Connecting off world prices to the actual market might be a good way to better balance off world launchers?

The way it looks the prices are random and generated at mapstart. Well random, with certain range limits of raw and produced resources. Where raw resourrces cant be above a certain selling price - basically the prices are withing a min-max range.

IIRC Soren said on one of the streams that offworld prices are RNG and decided at the start of the match.

I would like to see some sort of player agency when it comes to offworld prices.  Perhaps something like the current auctions whereby Co.s bid on offworld tenders for better prices in one or more manufactured goods on the offworld markets.  Depnding on whether or not those tenders are secret or public, it could put an interesting slant on how one enters into the offworld trading stage of the game.

You could do a reverse Dutch auction. The prise starts low and increases steadily until the first player accepts the price. You can wait longer and get a better price but you run the risk that somebody else does it for cheaper.
