I think I am doing something wrong.

My problem is probably really stupid and easy to fix. My problem is useing desktop x. Whenever I make an object and use an image I have created the image is all destorted. The image is almost entirely black and the image I made is in black and white and is, how should i say, squashed on the left side. PLEASE HELP!!!

NM I figured it out. I think there was a conflict useing the png transparrentcy, so i'm going to use bmp for now on.

There shouldn't be any conflict using .png files. They work great for me and look a lot better than .bmp as far as the transparency. When you use a .png file set the alpha transparency settings to (i think) either none or per-pixel alpha.

If that is the case, the you should be able to properly display .png files in DX with no problem. Make sure your animation settings reflect one frame and the alpha transparency section *should* be set automatically to deal with the .png file.

Didn't I read something about PNGs made using PaintShop Pro once? I think there are issues with those.
All transparent PNG I've made using Photoshop have always worked perfectly.

I've been using transparent .png's made with PSP since DX was capable and have never had any problems.

Hm, AFAIK You can also create 24bit PNG's with PSP, which don't work with DX. Be sure You save them 32bit.
