RAM issues I think...

Just got Object Desktop with WindowBlinds, etc. and so far I love it. The only complaint I have is that ever since I got it my sys has been doing that 'blue screen' thing. Sorry, I'm not a big puter guru. The first blue screen message I got was that my nvidia geforce MX settings were wrong or not compatible...something like that. The next one I just recently got was a error that contained a bunch of numbers *___* I haven't gotten errors like that for a looong time >.< My hard drive is partitioned and consists of:
A drive
C Drive - Main Drive (6 Gigs-only houses WinXP and important proggies)
D Drive - DVD Drive
E Drive - CD Writer
F Drive - Memory Drive (the guy that partitioned it made this drive a 'space' for memory, etc. Its only around .99 Gigs)
G Drive - Spare Drive (80 gigs)
H Drive - Spare Drive (40 gigs)

^^;; Sorry again to everyone...I didn't know where else to post this prob since it seems the forums for Object Desktop is unaccessable as of right now. I have 512 SDRAM so everything should be running properly. I've noticed though, that even though my system is pretty nice...it takes about 3 minutes or so for WinXP to completley boot up from when I press the power button. I was thinking its overclocked but I'm really not sure if anything I could do would fix the overclocking problem. Every now and then my puter turns off right after I turn it on - I have to hit the main power switch of and on before turning on the front power switch- when it finally starts to boot properly it comes to the BIOS and says that the Memory Speed is wrong, etc. but it only has 3 set speeds...every one of them not fixing the problem. I wonder if maybe this is the reason I'm getting those blue screen errors and that WindowBlinds is not helping it at all? Sorry again for the load of questions ^^;; Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I am no expert so can't answer with any authority but I did want to comment...

I never heard of anyone making a folder for the swap files. Now I have to find out what would be the advantage if any.

The swap file folder may have a drive letter but really is a folder on C drive and seems would complicate the moving/swap having that drive letter.

You may want to take a look at what is starting up when windows starts since it takes so long and remove what doesn't need to start. Most software likes for you to use their programs at startup so they sneak in the key to have them start up with windows.

Also, IMO, The GOBACK or Restore is a slower upper and if you are confident in your PC abilities, that should be turned off. However if you are afraid of the PC and loosing data then that is a good feature to use as a crutch and should be left on.

I doubt all of that is due to Object Desktop....I cannot see it creating issues with your bios and ram speeds....that's hardware configs that are outside of the reach of a Shell enhancement.
More likely it is a hardware issue totally unrelated, or even due to hard-booting/forcing shutdowns, etc.

Your best advice would be to take your comp to an 'expert' who can be hands-on with the system, rather than relying on remote 'guesswork' by people who 'may' know if only THEY were hands-on with it...
