Sad tidings. A truly creative talent has gone.

Glen A.Larsen has died at age 77 of esophageal cancer, per the L.A. Times.

He started with a script for "It Takes a Thief" and was an important producer of "McCloud". His first show was "Alias Smith and Jones". Larson also co-created "Quincy M.E." with Lou Shaw. He created "Battlestar Galactica" a few years later. 

His biggest hit was "Magnum, P.I." with Bellisario, but he also created the ABC series "The Six Million Dollar Man" and "The Fall Guy". He also wrote and was the executive producer for "Knight Rider".

Yup, Glen A. Larson contributed a great body of work to the small screen and will be sorely missed.
